Indie-Love Darling Daily long wig-wearer here. This wig is—once again—a disappointment.
The only long wig worth having anymore is the Butta Unit 14 from Sensationnel. Most—if not ALL—modern long wigs are layered so much that you end up with a 2000s bob, with “hair extensions” through the back, making the ends so thin that you can’t do anything with the longest length of the unit.
PLEASE, stop making 30 to 40 inch wigs with layers. Face-framing layers is alright—but layers from the chin down to the butt just makes the wig scraggly at the ends.
ALSO: For the love of God, NO MORE Silky wigs. Please stop making Silky wigs for Black women. Please. They look like plastic on EVERYONE’s heads, but especially Black women.
We need Yaki textures so it dulls the synthetic shine. For the girls that NEED (for some reason) silky synthetic wigs, learn to press out the Yaki texture with styling tools. It’s easy and fairly quick to do. But stop taking your need to wear Barbie hair out on the rest of us. We cannot make Silky wigs Yaki—it doesn’t work in reverse. Even with a hair crimper, we cannot make a Silky wig truly Yaki. So please. No more Silky synthetics. We’ve suffered long enough. 😂🙏🏽
PS: Stop with the mesh caps/Medicaps also. We all hate those. They’re not breathable, and they collect sweat. Go back to OPEN CAP/OPEN WEFT wigs. The stretchy plastic is just vile in humid climates, while working, or when physically active.
